However, the report does mention that Bruce Dern, another one who was expected to show up, is set for a role in the film.

As for Leigh, she’ll play Daisy Domergue, “a woman wanted for murder who begins the story in the clutches of bounty hunters.” Said bounty hunters will reported by played by Jackson and Madsen, but again, we haven’t heard anything official about their involvement just yet.

In terms of the plot, The Hateful Eight will start off with the three aforementioned characters who, along with the sheriff, take off in a stagecoach and along the way “hole up in a haberdashery to wait out a blizzard.” Soon, tensions begin to rise and, well, you can probably guess what happens after that, given that this is a Tarantino flick.

Shooting will get underway in Colorado in December, with a Holiday 2015 release planned. Now that Leigh, and Dern, have been confirmed, expect to hear more casting announcements for The Hateful Eight shortly.
