Johnny Depp Will Return To 21 Jump Street

It was pretty much all but confirmed but now we have confirmation that Mr. Depp will indeed be returning to 21 Jump Street. He'll join a cast that includes Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Rob Riggle and Alison Brie. Depp's role will be a cameo and likely he won't be on the screen for very long. The film is based on the television show of the same name which ran from 1987-1991. It put out 103 episodes and Depp starred as Officer Tom Hanson, who was part of an elite squad of undercover police. There isn't any news on what his cameo role will be but like I said above, it likely won't be significant.

I haven’t seen the original show but I’m looking forward to the film. It’s got a great cast and I’m a big fan of Jonah Hill. Brining Depp in is a good idea and fans of the series will likely appreciate it, whatever the role may be.
