Not since San Diego Comic-Con have we caught a glimpse of Justice League in action – set videos and BTS pics notwithstanding – but today brings word that Warner Bros. is gearing up to drop a brand new trailer for Zack Snyder’s all-star superhero flick on Saturday, March 25th.
How do we know? Because an Aquaman-centric teaser has bubbled up from the depths of the ocean. Whether this signals the first in a series of blink-and-you’ll-miss-them promos remains to be seen – one for each costumed crusader, perhaps? – but we’ll be keeping a close eye on the Warner Bros. camp as Saturday’s grand reveal draws near. The DC faithful will no doubt remember that in 2016, March 25th heralded the arrival of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, so this is a neat little way for Warner Bros. to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Zack Snyder’s admittedly divisive franchise-starter.
Nevertheless, up above you’ll be able to catch a handful of new shots featuring Jason Momoa’s King of the Seven, including a moment where Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader can be seen handing over his famous Trident of Neptune. Saturday can’t come quick enough, folks!
Affleck and Momoa headline a cast comprised of Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, with Ciarán Hinds as the nefarious Steppenwolf. Jesse Eisenberg and the Oscar-winning J.K. Simmons are also involved, and the latter is expected to enjoy a neat little debut as the great Commissioner Gordon.
Now that the second full-length Justice League trailer is looming on the horizon – a full one week ahead of schedule, mind you – tell us, are you holding out hope that Zack Snyder and Co. can deliver on their grand vision? Drop your thoughts, comments and potential concerns in the usual spot below.
