Digital artist BossLogic has imagined what it could be like if Reeves joined the MCU as Moon Knight, a hero we’ve all been wanting to have in the franchise since forever. As you can see in the gallery below, BL has produced two pieces – one with Reeves’ face showing beneath Moon Knight’s hood and the other with his mask in place. This appears to be a touch-up of an older piece the artist made that cast Jake Gyllenhaal as Marc Spector. Obviously this can’t happen now, though, as the actor recently starred as Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Thankfully, it’s not just fans making noise about Moon Knight in the MCU, as several Marvel creatives have shown an interest in bringing the underrated hero to the silver screen, too. Avengers: Endgame writers Markus and McFeely, for one, want to see a great Moon Knight movie made, possibly penned by themselves. Kevin Feige himself has also teased that the character has potential in the future of the franchise.

But not in the immediate future, it seems. Phase 4 will introduce a few new players into the fold, but there’s certainly no Moon Knight film on the slate and there doesn’t appear to be a space for him in any of those movies. Phase 5 will bring a Blade reboot, though, so Marvel might be willing to add more darker, supernaturally-tinged anti-heroes into the MCU after that.

But will it be Keanu Reeves who plays him when the time comes to bring Moon Knight on board? And do you think he should? Share your opinions in the comments section down below.
