Deadline is reporting that Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler is going to be joining Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street. The film, which is an adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s memoir of the same name, will be written by Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter.
DiCaprio will play Belfort, the Wall Street hotshot who gets caught up in the hard partying lifestyle and Hill will play Belfort’s good friend and business partner. As for Chandler, he’ll play the FBI agent who works on building a case against Belfort.
Chandler has been on a role since his Emmy win for the final season of Friday Night Lights. He starred in Super 8 last summer and this year he has a few more high profile roles that we’ll be watching out for, such as Ben Affleck‘s Argo, Broken City with co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe and of course, Kathryn Bigelow‘s Zero Dark Thirty.
It’s nice to see the actor earning some more recognition and hopefully the roll that he’s on will continue. Chandler may not be a household name just yet, but he’s well on his way to becoming one.
