News for Kathryn Bigelow‘s upcoming hunt for Osama Bin Laden film has been swirling. The latest casting addition, according to Deadline, is that of actor Kyle Chandler, who you may know from Friday Night Lights and J.J. Abrams‘ Super 8.
Chandler will play a CIA agent in the film, but Sony hasn’t actually confirmed his involvement just yet. If the news about his casting is true that would mean he’d be joining an already all-star cast that features Joel Edgerton, Jason Clarke, Mark Strong, Jessica Chastain, Chris Pratt and Edgar Ramirez.
The untitled film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19th, but that date could easily change depending on when the cameras officially start rolling.
