While Marvel Studios refuse to spill the beans on the upcoming Avengers 4, various leaks from the merchandising end of the industry have proved pretty revelatory in these last few weeks, even if there’s plenty of debate to be had over what exactly this intel reveals.
The trend continues with these new LEGO set descriptions, and while this info should hardly be taken as gospel truth, it does offer a few hints at how the Avengers: Infinity War sequel might continue to juggle its overwhelming array of super-powered characters.
SuperBroMovies has relayed some information from sources telling them that one of these toy sets shows Tony Stark and Scott Lang with a ship in the much talked-about city of the Quantum Realm. Again, this report should be taken with the usual pinch of salt, but it’s pretty much confirmed by now that this mysterious place previously seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp has a major part to play in the Russo Brothers’ next film.
Meanwhile, Bruce Banner is said to finally be in Hulk form and wearing a space suit in a set that also includes Thanos in a new helmet and what one Reddit source calls “an unknown figure.” Lastly, a third description paints a picture of Thor and Rocket in those same white suits we saw in earlier leaks, along with Steve Rogers in similar attire and Captain Marvel in a red outfit. And to make matters a little messier, there are even some rumors out there that War Machine and Hawkeye (in his new Ronin persona) are in the same set.
For all we know, this might be mere gossip, though Disney could certainly help us sort out the facts from the falsities when they finally drop that long-awaited first trailer. In any case, we’ll see what team-ups the Russo Brothers have planned for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3rd, 2019.
