UPDATE: This video has been removed at the request of the studio, though a clip from it can still be found in the Tweet below. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
We’re now just days away from Justice League‘s arrival on November 17th, but if you can’t wait any longer for some DCEU action, you’re in luck: the post-credits scene (well, one of them) has now leaked online!
Yes, this isn’t one of those fake – if very impressive – fan-made efforts that occasionally do the rounds (see: an imagined Deadpool crossover in Logan). Nope, this is 100% official, and it probably goes without saying, but the footage here contains spoilers galore. You’ve been warned!
Just as it was rumoured, the sequence features a deadly team-up between Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor and Deathstroke (presumably Joe Manganiello). Of course, the video is a pirate copy with dodgy quality and unfortunately, cuts off at the 60 second mark. So, this isn’t exactly the most ideal way to watch the scene, then, but it’s here if you just can’t wait any longer, and it’s very juicy.

DEATHSTROKE TALKING TO LEX LUTHOR IN JUSTICE LEAGUE #JusticeLeague pic.twitter.com/ldxQNb6Mm7

Things kick off when a guard checks in on Lex Luthor in his cell in Arkham Asylum (where he was sent at the end of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice). However, there’s only a decoy in his place. We then cut to Slade Wilson himself as he boards a luxury yacht which belongs to Luthor. The video jumps around at this point, but we imagine that the villain is going to propose an alliance between the pair – maybe setting up the Legion of Doom for Justice League 2? Or he may even hire Deathstoke to kill the Batman, setting up… er, The Batman?
Even despite the poor quality, this is a hugely exciting scene. For one, from the little we see of him here, Eisenberg’s Luthor looks and acts a lot more like the classic iteration of the character, which will please those who weren’t keen on his Joker-esque performance in BvS. Plus, after much toing-and-froing about his future in the franchise, it’s great to see the much-discussed debut of Manganiello’s Deathstroke.
Again, it’s hardly the best way to watch what’s sure to be a hugely exciting moment in the film, but if Justice League‘s release is too far away for you, then check it out up above. Once you do, be sure to let us know what you think!
