That’s a mighty tough act to follow, of course, but the studio’s juggled crowded slates before, and if there’s one thing we can tell you with absolute certainty at the moment, it’s that Peyton Reed’s sequel will herald a timely dose of levity, which is must needed given the devastating events of Joe and Anthony Russo’s aforementioned film.

Speaking of which, up above you’ll get another peek at Scott Lang’s second solo outing in motion, which is about to forge a kick-ass superhero duo in Ant-Man and the Wasp. And yes, Michael Peña’s Luis, the fast-talking, scene-stealing star of the original, is back in business as well, and here, he once again grabs some of the best moments, ensuring that you’ll be laughing out loud whenever he’s on screen.

As Marvel’s final film of 2018, and after the astonishing success of both Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther and the aforementioned Infinity War, it’ll be fascinating to discover if Peyton Reed’s follow-up experiences a boon in box office receipts, given that it’s opening under the shadow of what is without a doubt Marvel’s biggest film yet.

Expect Ant-Man and the Wasp to make a beeline for theaters on July 6th – in the United States, at least. Right now, it’s not scheduled to hit the United Kingdom until August 3rd, but a recent fan petition just might change that. Watch this space for more.
