We’re now a little over a month out from the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, and it seems as though the film’s marketing campaign is beginning to reach its crescendo. Following up on last week’s enticing and all-too-brief teaser, Lionsgate have unveiled a collection of stills from the film which introduce us to some of the leading renegades.
As you’d expect, Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen is the focal point of these all-new images, though they also feature some of the franchise’s new recruits, including Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer and Julianne Moore’s President Coin.
The latter actress also plays an integral role in the upcoming threequel, who takes Ms. Everdeen under her wing as she leads the charge to restore a sense of balance to the region. Picking up right where Catching Fire left off, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 will kick things off within the mysterious District 13 — the long lost district of Panem.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 marks the first part of Francis Lawrence’s conclusive chapter in the series, and will debut on November 21st, 2014.
