Every Movie That Could Have A Trailer Aired During The Super Bowl

From Marvel to Star Wars, there are currently quite a few fanbases across the internet that have been speculating recently on when the next trailer from their franchise of choice is most likely to drop, and a lot of hopes are being pinned right now on Super Bowl LIII, which airs on February 3rd. The big game has long served as an appropriately high profile event to share footage from some of the year’s most anticipated films, and in a new piece from ComicBook.com, a breakdown is offered of the movies that could be getting some promotion in a couple of Sundays from now.

First off, there’s already been a fair amount of speculation that a trailer or TV spot for Avengers: Endgame might drop on the 3rd, though an alternative prediction is that the Oscars on February 24th could be the time for a preview. And speaking of upcoming superhero movies, there’s also a chance that Captain Marvel, Shazam! or Spider-Man: Far From Home might get some ad space, though the latter two don’t look quite so likely as Carol Danvers’ MCU debut.

Meanwhile, there’ve also been some rumors that a short Star Wars: Episode IX teaser could be ready for the event, though the first full trailer isn’t expected to drop for a few months. Moreover, there’s been talk lately that a Toy Story 4 trailer might be imminent, while fellow Disney releases Dumbo, Aladdin and The Lion King could also show up somewhere during the broadcast.

Beyond that, Paramount’s What Men Want has a solid chance of dropping a trailer, while we perhaps can’t rule out Alita: Battle Angel, Happy Death Day 2U, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Pet Sematary, Hellboy, Detective Pikachu, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Rocketman, Men in Black: International, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Hobbs and Shaw or It: Chapter 2 getting some exposure. There’s maybe even a slight chance we’ll see something from Joker, Zombieland 2 or Frozen 2, though we wouldn’t get our hopes up about any of those.

Evidently, there are lot of possibilities for what the Super Bowl could bring us on February 3rd, but regardless of what ends up landing some ad space, the internet will surely be left with plenty to discuss.
