If some Marvel fans ever got their hands on an Iron Man suit, they’d probably sleep in it, work in it, go to the movies in it, and generally never take the armor off until it was in desperate need of cleaning. Nonetheless, Tony Stark is usually a little classier than that, so when he isn’t flying into the fight, he generally uses more traditional means of getting from place to place. That being said, the new Audi reported to feature in the upcoming Avengers 4 would blend in just fine with the character’s high tech assortment of toys.
Audi has confirmed its partnership for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel in an email to Autoblog, meaning that you can expect to see the E-Tron GT Concept be taken for a spin at some point in the film, and the most popular prediction right now is that Robert Downey Jr. will be the one to do the driving. The company has a long history of exhibiting its products in Marvel Studios flicks, dating back to the original Iron Man, in which Stark drove an Audi R8, so it comes as no surprise to see that they want a slice of the action for what could well be the biggest blockbuster of 2019.
Of course, while it’s nice to get a little confirmation on the content of the next year’s release, this certainly isn’t the Avengers 4 news that fans have been looking forward to this week, with the film’s first trailer expected to be making its premiere in the coming days.
This long-awaited footage has been the subject of an exhausting series of build-ups and disappointments, but while the teaser was reportedly delayed from its previously planned slot this morning, the current rumors say that the Avengers 4 trailer has been moved to Friday. It won’t be long before we find out if this latest prediction is the real thing, but either way, we’ll be seeing Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in action once more when the film hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
