Though there have been some set images of Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby, so far Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan have pretty much all but slipped through the cracks, that is until now.
New photos of Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby, as well as Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan and Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway have surfaced. The crew of the film have just moved locations from the inner city area at Sydney’s Fox Studios, to a Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where they have done up a local church to create Gatsby’s mansion.
From the look of these photos, the scene that is being depicted is the first encounter between Jay Gatsby and his long lost lover, Daisy Buchanan. The film has just under 4 weeks left of production before it enters post production for a release at the end of next year.
The Great Gatsby stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Elizabeth Debicki, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke, and will be in cinemas on December 25th, 2012.
