After a couple of enticing teasers, Lionsgate Entertainment has finally unveiled the first full-length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1.
Billed as the first chapter in the franchise’s much-anticipated conclusion, Mockingjay — Part 1 will orbit around Ms. Katniss Everdeen who finds herself in the midst of District 13, the lost province of Panem. With Peeta held up in the capital, our heroine must seek advice from President Coin (Julianne Moore) and her band of allies to save her wayward friend and, subsequently, free the nation.
As expected, the threequel will be directed by Francis Lawrence following his work on last year’s well-received Catching Fire. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 will arrive in theatres on November 21st, 2014. Until then, you can check out the explosive full-length trailer above to whet your appetite for the franchise’s imminent curtain call.
