When he’s not battling against the elements in the Alps or pursuing Dave Bautista’s mysterious baddie Jinx through the streets of Rome, Daniel Craig’s James Bond will be setting his sights on the titular crime syndicate – Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. But peeling back the layers of the organization means our shaken-not-stirred agent will uncover the secrets of his own past, including a chilling connection with the nemesis he so seeks: Christoph Waltz’s Franz Oberhauser.

To get to him, though, Bond will have to partner up with the daughter of an old foe in the form of Léa Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann, a doctor who is initially suspicious of Craig’s super spy, but sides with him regardless as the pair look to shed light on the devious, clandestine corporation.

Sam Mendes’ Spectre opens in theaters on November 6. If you’re keen to get in the Bond mood ahead of time, though, Sony and MGM are planning to debut Sam Smith’s theme song for the actioner, “Writing’s on the Wall,” on September 25.

A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond (Daniel Craig) on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.
