We’re just three months away from the release of Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, and a new promo video released via the movie’s Instagram account this week reminds us of that.
While it doesn’t feature a huge amount of new footage, there are extended versions of moments which have previously been seen, including Angel battling Nightcrawler, Cyclops unleashing his optic blast, and the mass destruction caused by the villainous Apocalypse.
[zerg]In a year with movies like Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War on the way, it would be easy to forget about X-Men: Apocalypse. Fortunately, the film is looking pretty damn good and it may just end up being refreshing to see heroes battling a villain rather than each other.
As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others. The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.
