We don’t know a whole lot about Transformers 4 just yet. In fact, we know next to nothing. We don’t even know what it’s going to be called. That might have changed today though as First Showing has revealed a couple possible choices that may act as the upcoming film’s title.
The Michael Bay-directed movie stars Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor and production is currently going on in Chicago. It’s just a matter of time before more details roll out but for now, what we can tell you is that a brand protection agency, the same one who revealed the title of the last Transformers film, has registered several new titles: Transformers: Last Stand, Transformers: Apocalypse and Transformers: Future Cast.
Furthermore, Transformers fansite TFW2005 dug up some information and has learnt that Hasbro recently applied for a couple of trademarks for the name Transformers: Age of Extinction, which seems a lot more plausible than the aforementioned titles that I listed. That being said, none of these titles sound particularly good and all of them are rather lame and awkward sounding. Then again, considering the title of the last film, Dark of the Moon, I guess that anything would be a step up.
Either way, a title doesn’t make or break a movie and as of right now, there’s no official confirmation on any of these. As soon as we hear something more we’ll let you know.
