Thanks to The Film Stage, we have the first trailer for the film, which stars Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, and Matthew Goode.

For those unfamiliar with the film, here’s the official synopsis:

After India’s (Wasikowska) father dies, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him

For one, the trailer looks beautifully creepy. I’ve seen several of Park Chan-wook’s films so far and he has a way of making even the dullest of conversations between characters seem intense. I was pretty skeptical when I heard that the script came from Wentworth Miller, but it was voted to the 2010 “Black List” of the 10 best unproduced screenplays, so there must be something to it.

Stoker hits theaters on March 1st, 2013.
