Having been benched for the back half of 2017, and subsequently sent to WB’s minor league affiliate following the release of Justice League, DC was given another chance at the plate in 2018, and as a result of an insanely strong San Diego Comic-Con panel, the comic book juggernaut is currently batting a thousand with a once disgruntled fanbase, and here’s why.
During their allotted slot at the “largest convention of its kind in the world,” WB and DC delighted the crowd with the first teaser for Shazam!, came through with the big swing everyone had been waiting for in the form of the first trailer for Aquaman, and even shared some unpolished Wonder Woman 1984 footage, all whilst managing to rebrand their entire operation in the process. And now, director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot are giving you the chance to be an extra in their hotly anticipated sequel.
That’s right, Warner Bros. and Omaze have teamed-up to offer you and a friend the opportunity of a lifetime by sending you both to the London set of Wonder Woman 1984 where you’ll hang out with Diana of Themyscira herself, Gal Gadot, and the woman behind both of Princess Diana’s feature films, Patty Jenkins. Not only that, but the winner will also get to appear in the movie as an extra!
All you have to do is send a donation to The Anti-Recidivism Coalition (which you can do here), where your generosity will help formerly incarcerated youth benefit from mentorship, mental health services, supportive housing, give them access to jobs and education, and opportunities to advocate for criminal justice reform.
Even though Wonder Woman 1984 is now roughly a month into principal photography, there’s still plenty to be done, and being the first to see Kristen Wiig in her Cheetah attire should be incentive enough to click on that donation button, wouldn’t you say?
