Diana Prince of Themyscira is not to be trifled with – she’s the Immortal Warrior, for crying out loud.
With Wonder Woman 1984‘s production now in full swing, a series of set photos (and videos!) have escaped onto the interwebs, revealing Gal Gadot back in period garb, a full-blown street riot, and Steve Trevor, whose sudden reappearance has sparked all sorts of conspiracy theories online.
Word is Chris Pine’s heroic WWI pilot will be introduced as a figment of Diana’s imagination, given he paid the ultimate sacrifice during Wonder Woman‘s admittedly bittersweet finale (“I can save today, but you can save the world”). The jury’s still out on that one, but over on Twitter (h/t ComicBook.com), the latest WW84 set video has been uncovered, and this one sees Diana dash through the crowded streets of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Still with us? The video contains precisely no story clues, other than the fact that Wonder Woman 1984 will feature a pretty intense scene of Diana Prince dashing down a busy street. And she is fast.

Chances are Patty Jenkins and her team have the actress fixed to a wire, thereby accelerating her movement to near-superhuman speeds. But this is Gal Gadot we’re talking about, so we wouldn’t be all that surprised to learn that the Wonder Woman star is just really, really fast. Either way, somewhere within the DC vaults, the Scarlet Speedster is beginning to sweat…
Aptly titled Wonder Woman 1984 due to its post-Cold War setting, look for Diana’s second solo adventure to grace theaters worldwide on November 1st, 2019.
