So long as John Wick keeps delivering stylishly brutal, slickly choreographed action films, the vengeful hitman may never get the retirement he desires, with new footage now emerging from the set of the hotly anticipated John Wick: Chapter 3.
Among other things, we get a glimpse of what appears to be Keanu Reeves limping away in pain after filming a scene. We’re not sure exactly what happened, but the actor certainly doesn’t appear to be in good shape. Thankfully, then, all seems fine in the second clip, which features Wick and his four-legged friend hailing a cab.
Circling back to the first video, though, and we imagine whatever injury he suffered wasn’t too serious. If it was, they would’ve had to halt production and we probably would’ve heard about it by now. Regardless, you can take a look at both clips below and see what you make of them for yourself.

Story-wise, we’re a little in the dark at the moment when it comes to what we should expect from the threequel, but here’s the synopsis that’s been provided:
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.
Speaking of that swanky chain of hotels where killers find sanctuary, we’re still awaiting further details on the spinoff series The Continental, but between that Reeves and Stahelski-produced show and John Wick: Chapter 3’s May 17th release date, 2019 looks to be the year where the Wick franchise takes its world-building to the next level – and we can hardly wait.
