A couple of new, fairly blurry images of the much-anticipated Wonder Woman movie have made their way online today (see gallery below). Shared by Instagram user wonderwomanbr, the two pictures are some of the first to give fans a glimpse at Gal Gadot suited up as the titular hero on the set of the film.

Previous set leaks have provided glimpses into scenes between Gal Gadot and co-stars Chris Pine, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui, and more recent pics have confirmed that the movie is set during World War I. Besides an official still released by Warner Bros. though, today marks the first set photo of Gadot in her Wonder Woman gear that we’ve seen so far.

Although the film will include scenes in WWI, rumors surrounding the Patty Jenkins-directed flick are suggesting that it won’t exclusively stick to that period. Some of Diana Prince’s backstory is likely to be filled in with flashbacks to her early days on the utopian isle of Themyscira, and then flash-forward to the modern Batman V Superman setting so she can join in on building up the action for Justice League.

Fans don’t have to wait long at all to finally see Diana Prince in action on the big screen, since she’ll be making her debut in this month’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which releases in just two short weeks on March 25. Her role in Zack Synder’s film is expected to be somewhat significant, but will mainly act as the groundwork for her solo movie.

Which is still a ways off itself – Wonder Woman will be hitting theaters on June 23, 2017. Until then, check out the new images in the gallery below and let us know what you think in the comments.
