All ready for Ralph’s big return?
Pegged to launch this November, the highly anticipated animated sequel is set to release under the title Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 – we know, it’s quite the mouthful. Rich Moore is back behind the lens though, alongside Phil Johnston, who pushed out the original’s screenplay with Jennifer Lee of Frozen fame. For the follow-up, he’s been promoted to co-director and will be overseeing a voice cast comprised of John C. Reilly (Ralph), Sarah Silverman (Vanellope von Schweetz), Jack McBrayer (Fix-It Felix) and Jane Lynch, who’s looking to reprise the role of the no-nonsense Sergeant Calhoun.
Though we haven’t seen much from the project just yet, Disney’s now about to change that, with the new poster in the gallery below promising us a second trailer tomorrow. When exactly it’ll drop is unknown, but keep your eyes on We Got This Covered, as we’ll have it for you as soon as it’s available.
Plot-wise, not much is known about where the sequel may take us, but talking about his plans a while back, Moore said the following:
“Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know – the internet – but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”
Wreck-It Ralph 2 – or Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 as it’s now called – will boot online on November 21st. It makes for quite the mouthful, but aside from its lengthy title, are you excited to see Ralph and Vanellope back in action? Sound off in the comments section and let us know! And be sure to come back tomorrow for that new trailer.
