Watch This Leaked X-Men: Days Of Future Past Trailer

Thanks to someone who was in attendance at the 2013 Fantasia Festival, which took place recently in Montreal, we now have our first look at the soon to be released trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Clocking in at around a minute and a half, the video is actually pretty decent quality and though the audio is a bit tough to make out at times, there's still more than enough solid footage here to get fans excited.

UPDATE: The trailer has been removed at the request of the studio.

Thanks to someone who was in attendance at the 2013 Fantasia Festival, which took place recently in Montreal, we now have our first look at the soon to be released trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Clocking in at around a minute and a half, the video is actually pretty decent quality and though the audio is a bit tough to make out at times, there’s still more than enough solid footage here to get fans excited.

Backed by Hans Zimmer’s haunting song Time, from the film Inception, the trailer plays out in more of a dramatic style. It places its focus on the characters and story rather than on the action set-pieces, which there are sure to be plenty of. Almost all of the mutants make an appearance but the trailer is dominated by Professor X and Logan, whose conversation plays over the footage that is being shown. It’s hard to make out exactly what they’re saying but it has something to do with Logan going back in time to find Xavier and Magneto in hopes of having them re-team to save the future.

From what I can tell, it’s the same footage that was shown off not too long ago at Comic-Con, so if you were in attendance there then you’ve likely already seen this. Either way, it’s a very exciting glimpse into what is sure to be one of 2014’s most-anticipated films.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently filming, and stars Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Ellen Page and more. The Bryan Singer-directed film will hit theatres on May 23rd, 2014.
