The next trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League is just around the corner now, with many fans expecting it to be with us next month, or May at the latest. It’s been a long wait for more footage from the film, to be sure, but thankfully, the director’s been tiding us over with little goodies here and there.
Just recently, he shared some test footage of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, giving us a chance to see the hero swimming through the ocean. It wasn’t much, but it sparked a lot of discussion and had people wondering how exactly it was shot. Now, Snyder has pulled the lid back a little more, giving us another BTS pic of the actor and explaining a bit about it.
“People are wondering whether he was CG or not,” Snyder wrote. “He’s not…hair and environment [was] CG otherwise all Jason.”
As you can see below, the photo depicts Momoa being held up in mid-air by some sort of rig, surrounded by green screens, proving that he wasn’t CG in the test footage released the other week. It doesn’t reveal much more than that, but it’s yet another cool look behind the scenes of one of this year’s most anticipated films and hopefully, it won’t be the last one we receive.
Justice League will be with us on November 17th and aside from Momoa, it stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, among others. While you wait for the trailer, be sure to check out the new photo from Snyder below and let us know if you thought Momoa was CGI in the test footage or not by dropping a comment.
