4) Griz
This Detroit-based “crunkstep” producer just released a refreshingly funky new album largely driven by session instrumentals. His performance will undoubtedly be studded with tracks from the recent effort and is likely to be one of the highlights of the weekend.
3) Damian Lazarus
Another purveyor of the older style of deep house, Damian Lazarus puts out the weekly Lazpod podcasts and will accompany house veteran Lee Burridge on the Day 1 lineup for the Verboten stage.
2) Oliver
No, not Oliver Heldens – just Oliver. This duo’s brand of electro pop manages to sound retro and cutting edge at the same time, and they’ll play the main stage on Day 2 of the festivities.
1) Mija
It’s safe to say that after this festival season everyone will know who Mija is. After having been signed to Skrillex’s OWSLA label last year and being featured on Diplo and Friends last month, her genre-blending style behind the decks is quickly amassing her a dedicated following, and deservedly so.
