While many might remember Borgeous for he and DVBBS’ rattling festival house banger, “Tsunami,” his latest work exhibits a marked departure from the adrenaline-pumping hard kicks of his earlier releases. The preview of “Zero Gravity” is unquestionably centered around a verse-chorus scheme and melodic synth lead almost guaranteed to land the track on the radio. We’re certainly not complaining that the artist has outgrown churning out “Animals” knockoffs, but the song takes no real creative risks and will likely appeal more to EDM newcomers than anyone.

The track’s official release through Spinnin’ is scheduled for June 22nd, but you can listen to the preview above. Check it out and tell us, do you feel we might have been a little hard onĀ Borgeous‘ “Zero Gravity?” Let us know why or why not in the comments section below.
