After waging flame wars against the likes of Paris Hilton, Skrillex, Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Avicii, deadmau5 has set his sights on a new internet adversary. Even though Deorro hasn’t proven a consistent fixture of the electronic music landscape in recent years, he’s found himself in the progressive house mastermind’s crosshairs no less.

deadmau5 obviously doubted the legitimacy of Deorro’s claim himself, as evidenced by his response:

Being that Deorro does indeed run a record label, it is reasonable to expect that he would be able to dictate whether or not additional parties participated in the production process on any track he puts out. He hasn’t responded to deadmau5‘ callout as of yet, but as with the producer’s other targets, their dialogue will likely continue as festival season unfolds.
