A brooding bass line meets with busy percussive elements to instill a markedly dissonant ambience in “Blue Parrot.” A solitary vocal sample rings out every several measures, fitting the track for circulation throughout dance music’s more subversive channels.

As for the title, Gorgon City revealed in an Instagram post that they drew inspiration from a Playa Del Carmen nightclub of the same name. It is one of several that will eventually come out on the duo’s upcoming album, Kindom.

Gorgon City‘s upcoming album does not have a release date as of yet, but after listening to “Blue Parrot” keep on the lookout for additional tracks from the UK garage duo.
