Rihanna‘s baby bump famously stole the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show on February 12, causing a storm of speculation about her due date.
The Barbadian songbird and beauty mogul delighted fans by revealing her second pregnancy during her epic live performance at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
However, fans were surprised to discover Rihanna was far along in her second pregnancy with A$AP Rocky so soon after delivering their first son on May 13, 2022.
There has been no official announcement about her upcoming due date. However, Women’s Health estimates that Rihanna is probably at the end of her second trimester, and predicts that her baby will arrive sometime in the summer of 2023.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nominated Rihanna’s song “Lift Me Up” from the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever for the Best Music (Original Soundtrack) Award.
Rihanna’s baby bump will appear for her second live performance of 2023 at the 95th Academy Awards on March 12. The first-time nominee posted a photo of her adorable son, and joked that the tearful tot was sad because his unborn sibling was attending the Oscar ceremony without him.
Fans are still hoping for a follow-up to her last album Anti, which she released in 2016. However, Rihanna has not been idle. On the contrary, she has been busy building a fashion empire, falling in love, and starting a family with a partner she sweetly describes as her “best friend.” Considering that Rihanna recently said she hopes to have three or four children, it may be a while until she finds her way back to the recording studio.
