Kap Slap Mashes Up Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez And Adele

Kap Slap has made quite the name for himself when it comes to mashups, so it only makes sense that he would be the one to take the medium to such crazy heights. The New York City-based DJ/producer has offered up the ultimate irony: a remix of Steve James' "Renaissance" that incorporates the vocal top lines of Selena Gomez' "Same Old Love" with Justin Bieber's "Sorry" and Adele's "Hello."

Vocal samples from Adele’s “Hello” are the opposite outlier in the mashup here, as the exchange between Bieber and Gomez’ verses hint at their well-publicized romance gone wrong. The novelty was obviously not lost on Kap Slap himself, as the video opens with a clip from Bieber’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show – where he was goaded into discussing his own track’s relevance to the relationship.

In addition to his famous mashups, Kap Slap recently started releasing originals as well – such as his and Angelika Vee’s main stage-friendly “Let It All Out,” which we really dug. And now, with “Same Old Sorry” under his belt, hopefully we’ll hear more about what else the producer has in store for us in the near future.
