Two judges from NBC’s hit show The Voice have teamed up to release a catchy summer tune that’s sure to be a hit once it reaches the airwaves. The new single from Maroon 5 features some powerful vocals from Christina Aguilera and an upbeat/catchy hook sung by the band’s frontman and judge for The Voice, Adam Levine.
Similar to Stereo Hearts, a song from the Gym Class Heroes released last week that also featured Adam Levine, this is an excellent summer track and very radio friendly. While it was supposed to debut tonight on The Voice, it actually leaked yesterday and has been picking up strong buzz ever since.
“The [Maroon 5] guys and I recorded this track in L.A. last month and it was great getting to work with Christina on it as well,” Levine said in a statement. “We are excited to perform it for our fans on The Voice this Tuesday and on the road this summer.”
The song is full of swag and Levine’s infectious hook makes it instantly listenable, turning this into a song that will likely find itself on repeat in your iTunes.
