Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of mashups featuring older songs from the 60’s and 70’s. This mashup is no different. Featuring two absolutely classic songs, Something and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, this is a great mashup that fans of older music will surely enjoy.
The Beatles get the vocals while Gaye provides the background music. The two flow into each other nicely and provide for a solid track. I just wish Gaye had got some vocal recognition in the mashup as Ain’t No Mountain High Enough is a great vocals song. Aside from that I don’t have any other problems with the mashup and it makes for a good listen. Plus, any mashup with The Beatles is worth posting about, enough said.
