Last week marked the first major release of 2016 through Heldeep Records, and Oliver Heldens looks eager to keep the momentum of his own artist project going as well. At a stop on his current bus tour, the future house sensation premiered an as-yet-unidentified track.
Evoking much of the same energy as Heldens’ collaboration with Throttle, “I’ve Been Waiting,” the tentatively titled “Shake Your Money Maker” draws on Latin grooves that make it infectiously danceable. Stabs from a strings section make for a decidedly nu-disco sound – which ultimately comes across as more sophisticated than the future house which has become his calling card.
Although Oliver Heldens fans anxiously anticipate a high-quality version or official release date for the track, the DJ/producer has yet to reveal any such information. Until he does, listen to the ID in the video above and let us know what you think by making a trip down to the comments section.
