Test Drive Disclosure’s Caracal With This Collaborators MiniMix

It's not often that we find ourselves looking forward to an artist's sophomore album as much as we're looking forward to Disclosure's Caracal. Where 2013's Settle saw the reluctant deep house movement poster children lock in their signature sound, the follow up will almost certainly be remembered as the body of work which helped them refine it.

It’s not often that we find ourselves looking forward to an artist’s sophomore album as much as we’re looking forward to Disclosure‘s Caracal. Where 2013’s Settle saw the reluctant deep house movement poster children lock in their signature sound, the follow up will almost certainly be remembered as the body of work which helped them refine it.

Perhaps nothing illustrates this point better than the Caracal mini-mix that the duo has just released. Comprised of short snippets from each of the collaborations on the upcoming album, the nearly seven-minute mix showcases its range of style even as none of the music betrays Disclosure’s trademark sound.

Presented in what looks like motion picture credits on the bottom of the image for the mini mix is their veritable laundry list of featured talent – including Sam Smith, The Weeknd and Lorde among a handful of more obscure names.

Additionally, the Spotify playlist below features all the songs on the minimix as well as “Omen” remixes by Claude VonStroke, Claptone and Jonas Rathman.

Disclosure‘s Caracal will be released next week on the 25th. Until then, take a listen to the album’s mini-mix and if you like what you hear then make sure to pre-order it here.
