TomorrowWorld Issues Official Apology To Those Who Were Left Stranded

In case you haven't heard, chaos broke out at TomorrowWorld this past Saturday when the shuttle service was shut down due to weather. Of course, this resulted in thousands of people being stranded, and if you've been to the festival before you'll know that as it takes place out in Chattahoochee Hills, being stranded isn't exactly an ideal situation. There really is nothing around there and there certainly is no easy or quick way to get back to Atlanta.

In case you haven’t heard, chaos broke out at TomorrowWorld this past Saturday when the shuttle service was shut down due to weather. Of course, this resulted in thousands of people being stranded, and if you’ve been to the festival before, you’ll know that as it takes place out in Chattahoochee Hills, being stranded isn’t exactly an ideal situation. There really is nothing around there and there certainly is no easy or quick way to get back into Atlanta.

Horror stories have been emerging all week regarding to what went down once transportation was suspended, and those who were unlucky enough to be stuck out there with no way back into the city have been voicing some very harsh feelings towards the festival, and rightfully so.

Now, TomorrowWorld has finally issued a statement regarding the incident, and it reads as follows:

Friends,
We understand and hear your frustrations and disappointments in the developments at TomorrowWorld over the last weekend.

Our only goal was to create together with you the best weekend of the year, and we are heartbroken that we were not able to provide some of our precious fans with the full TomorrowWorld experience, which includes the complete journey to and from the festival.

The combination of your positive energy and our hard work did not shine through and we completely understand your dissatisfaction. TomorrowWorld was also let down by a number of external factors which did not allow us to provide you with the full experience you deserve.

We realize we can’t turn back time and make it perfect, but for those who wish to, we are here to communicate directly and listen to all your personal stories, frustrations and questions: [email protected]

You are the true People of Tomorrow and deserve all the respect in the world. As a part of this, the refund policy is active here:

With Love,
TomorrowWorld

While the apology does appear to be sincere, it’s simply too little too late. Sure, a refund is all well and good, but if you’ve heard the stories of what happened that night, you’ll know that a little money back isn’t going to really go very far in fixing the situation. TomorrowWorld‘s management disappointed a lot of people on Saturday night, and they’re going to have to do a lot more than provide a refund to win back the trust of their fans.
