Activision And Cabela’s Launch Adventure Starts Here Tour

Activision and Cabela are hitting the road for a mobile tour across America, showcasing two unreleased, never seen before titles: Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai and Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012. This nationwide excursion allows gamers and outdoors enthusiasts of all ages to be among the first to play these upcoming titles before they hit stores this fall. On route, the 42′ trailer will travel more than 12,000 miles, bringing the fun of the outdoors to fans across the United States.

The Adventure Starts Here Tour began on August 11, 2011 in Sidney, NE at the Cabela’s 50th anniversary celebration and will continue on to the company’s stores and Walmart locations in Minnesota, Nevada, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, Washington D.C., Tennessee, Texas and more. Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai is a brand new, third-person action-adventure game that places players in a struggle for survival. After emerging from a devastating plane crash in the arctic wilderness, players will fight for survival as they use weapons, gear and their survival skills against deadly predators and harsh environments.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 returns in an even bigger way with game-changing freedom of movement, hyper-realistic animal behaviors and guns and gear that makes this the ultimate hunting game.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 will be available on September 27, 2011 for PS3, XBOX 360 and Wii. Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai will be available for the same consoles on November 1, 2011.
