As Assassin’s Creed III inches closer to its much-anticipated release, Ubisoft has released the first in what looks to be a series of behind-the-scenes videos further detailing the massive development process of the game.
The video offers several interesting tidbits. Among them is the fact that the development staff spans several hundred people across five different studios, and a promise of over 30 hours of gameplay along with 2 and a half hours of cinematics.
Additional details are also given regarding the team’s efforts to bring out the brutality of the game’s American Revolution-era setting and the new protagonist, Connor. Finally, more information on the new AnvilNext engine powering the game is also given.
