The news of Avicii‘s deteriorating health has led to many fans worrying about the Swedish DJ’s future. After cancelling the rest of his tour dates, it was as if people were expecting a halt to be put on his album, as well as any new tracks he was working on. With forums exploding with rumours and speculation, it was almost like he had left the music industry entirely.
Well, fear not Avicii fans, as this is just happened to be a small bump in the road for the young DJ and he’s still preparing to release his new single, titled The Days. Similar to some of his older work, Bergling explains where the influence for the track came from:
“This new song is inspired by my friends and fans and all the day’s we’ve shared…thank you for sharing your dance moves and taking this collaboration to the next level.”

We only get to hear a short section of it, but it certainly sounds promising and I look forward to hearing the entire thing once it’s ready.
