Now that the PC release of Alan Wake is on the very near horizon, it’s time for gamers to double-check that the lights in their gaming room are working. Now that the mentioned chore has been completed, we can continue by mentioning that the light-using survival horror game will be released onto the mouse and keyboard platform on February 16, for $29.99.
The troubled writer will make his debut on that platform, through a collection which includes his titular game’s full campaign, alongside its two downloadable content episodes: The Signal and The Writer. With all three included, you’re getting one heck of a deal on a relatively lengthy experience.
Interested gamers can splurge on the game’s Limited Collector’s Edition, which adds the Alan Wake Files book, developer commentary and an extended soundtrack. That specific version will set you back $35.
The aforementioned release date is for the Steam service. An Origin release has been confirmed, and is to follow after the game’s timed exclusivity deal with Steam ends. Other digital providers are expected to release Alan Wake in the near future.
While we’re on the subject, don’t forget that Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will be heading to Xbox LIVE Arcade on February 22, for a list price of 1200 Microsoft Points.
