The Good Charlotte train has been rolling steadily ever since the pop punk band announced their comeback a year ago. Since then, the Maryland quintet has been better than ever, embarking on nationwide tours and nabbing a spot on this past summer’s Warped Tour. More importantly, they’ve unleashed a comeback album, Youth Authority, and today, they released the music video for the song “Life Changes.”
“Life Changes” might appear to be your stereotypical “tour video” devoid of any creativity or plotline, but this one is a bit more interesting than others. The music video chronicles Good Charlotte’s comeback in full, featuring stage performances, glimpses of life backstage, meeting fans, and other various antics. All in all, the black and white clip does a pretty good job at showing just how much Good Charlotte is totally loving life right now.
It helps that “Life Changes” is one of the strongest songs off of Good Charlotte’s comeback record, Youth Authority, which is filled with fantastic hooks that the group has always been known for. By the end of the music video, you get the feeling that this comeback isn’t just temporary – the band is going to be around for as long as people want them to be, and judging by the size of the crowds they’re playing to, they’re going to be around for a while.
Good Charlotte will be hitting the road next month to make some more memories in this brand new chapter, with The Story So Far, Four Year Strong, Hit the Lights, and more as support. You can view a full list of the dates on their website.
