After Avicii came in to help with production of the latest Coldplay single, A Sky Full Of Stars, remixes began to spill out onto the Internet. From Moeiz to Syn Cole, many have taken a jab at this beautiful piece of music. But now the current leader of the DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, Hardwell, has delivered his take on the song with this absolute gem of progressive house.
If you recall, EDC Las Vegas was graced with this remix playing through Kinetic Field amongst fans singing along to Chris Martin’s vocals. Featuring an uplifting melody that turns this tranquil song into a main-stage monster, the remix maintains the emotion of the original while implementing the power of Hardwell’s kicks and basslines.
It truly amazes me how Robbert Van De Corput can put out this tremendous remix between worrying about the looming results of the new polls for DJ Mag, having a new album in the works, running one of the most popular labels, and touring non stop. This guy really is something else.
