UK festival goers were the first to hear Jack Ü's long teased collaboration with Florence And The Machine earlier today, as the DJ duo tested the song out for its debut appearance in a live set. The collab was originally announced back in March, and fans have waited patiently for the first audio sample to surface ever since. Skrillex and Diplo opted to give the upcoming ID its inaugural play at Reading Festival, and one fortuitous fan captured a rip of the audio for the rest of us to enjoy.

Skrillex and Diplo opted to give the upcoming ID its inaugural play at Reading Festival this week, and one fortuitous fan captured a rip of the audio for the rest of us to enjoy. After an introduction from Diplo, a gentle backing track fills the speakers joined by Florence Welch’s powerful singing. After a vocal driven verse, the song moves into the drops, which feature crashing percussion, bell melodies and rhythmic future bass chords.

There’s still no release date for the Jack Ü/Florence And The Machine collab, but we’ll take it on good faith that we won’t have to wait too much longer now that its surfacing on the live front.
