Jojo Siwa’s former partner Katie Mills is done being quiet and is setting the record straight after spotting a video of the reality star on TikTok where she seemingly poked fun at her dating life and accused her exes of “clout chasing.”
“Me trying to find love…” overlayed on the video of Siwa, who can be seen dancing around as phrases like “Love Bombing,” “Red Flag,” and “ex’s” with red flags appeared throughout. While the dancer did not mention anyone in particular, many assumed the post to be directed at ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus whom Siwa appeared to accuse of using her “for views and for clout” last December in a video that was uploaded to Siwa’s mom’s Instagram Stories.
It wasn’t long until Mills got wind of the post and responded in a stitch with her ex’s TikTok, declaring: “I’m done being quiet.” The content creator spoke directly to her former boo, telling her, “You hold a lot of power, you and your platform,” before asking, “How can you tell someone that you love them and then ghost them the next day and then post all over the internet that we’re clout chasers and love bombers?”
Mills also accused the Dance Moms alum of putting her and Cyrus “through hell for months,” reportedly with “no explanation why.” However, she continued to deny claims that she used the television star for exposure, stating that before she shared anything on social media, “I asked for your permission first.”
Siwa does have an extensive online reach when you look at the numbers across the board. The former child star has over 11 million Instagram followers — which is only one million less than what she garnered on YouTube — and another 45 million supporters on TikTok, all of whom include fans from various generations.
Mills also suggested it was Siwa’s idea to attend certain events, including Hollywood Boulevard, Disneyland, and a Lakers game together. She warned her ex she had “text receipts” to support her remarks, “so, don’t come at me.” The content creator captioned her post, “there’s been enough damage. Please leave us alone.“
Siwa and Mills reportedly began dating in December 2022, three years after the then-17-year-old officially came out. However, by January of the new year, Siwa had declared herself single again.
