Kings of Leon are back and ready to put out their brand new album. Their seventh full-length effort, entitled Walls, is set for release on October 14th via RCA Records.
After ten years worth of albums produced by Angelo Petraglia, the band enlisted Grammy award winning producer and songwriter Markus Dravs to work behind the boards on Walls. Despite the change, Kings of Leon were still in good hands: Dravs’ credits include albums from Arcade Fire, Mumford and Sons, and Coldplay.
Back in late 2015, singer Caleb Followill and drummer Nathan Followill spoke with Associated Press about how they’ll split their time recording in Los Angeles and their hometown of Nashville.
The band’s been teasing their new album and the title Walls on social media outlets this entire week, as members have been using hashtags and posting cryptic content on Instagram. Although the ten track album has now been officially announced, there’s no word yet on when a new single is going to arrive. We’ll keep you posted once we hear more though.
