UK duo Disclosure are paying homage to one of them most important synths in electronic music history this week, as they prepare to drop a new EP named after the iconic Moog brand. In anticipation of Moog For Love‘s release, three cuts from the collection are available for streaming, including “Boss,” the title track with Eats Everything, and “Feel Like I Do” which samples the legendary Al Green.
“Boss” was first heard live at the duo’s Wild Life Festival over the weekend, sporting their usual blend of soulful garage and funky dance beats. Title track “Moog For Love,” meanwhile, is a driving dance number with busy percussion and blippy synths, and the Al Green driven “Feel Like I Do” features a more overt soul vibe, but keeps the pace going strong with prominent rhythms and funky guitar licks.
Moog For Love is the follow up to Disclosure‘s sophomore effort Caracal, which released last fall, and will be available tomorrow.
