Marshmello’s “Singe Me To Sleep” remix opens with some deep bass notes beneath the vocal track from the original. The dark intro is suddenly contrasted by some funky synth work that leads into the drops, which consist of stuttered rhythms and chopped up vocal samples. Marshmello’s flip differs pretty substantially from the original version, offering up a re-imagining of the source material infused with his trademark sounds.
