I suppose an album announcement doesn’t count unless the artist makes it in English. Martin Garrix casually mentioned that he had a debut album in the works last month, but it wasn’t until his most recent announcement that it truly registered with his entire fanbase.
The Twitter account Twitter Video recently revealed its #FFWD2016 feature, which granted some of its most popular users a platform from which they could announce their upcoming projects for 2016. During Garrix’s segment of the montage, he said, “What’s up, Twitter, it’s Martin Garrix. I wanna release my debut album, and I hope you like it.”
Again, no album title, track list, release date or collaboration details – but apparently Martin Garrix‘s debut album is such big news that he can reveal it two different times and garner just as much attention.
