Earlier in the year, Martin Garrix unveiled an unreleased ID during his set at Tomorrowland, which was uploaded to YouTube in the form of a live audio rip. Taking to Snapchat, Garrix has previewed a new version of the Tomorrowland ID that’s been updated with some fresh vocal hooks, with the caption “back in the studio” – hinting at the possibility of it being released in the near future.
Contrasting his recent effort with Bebe Rexha, “In The Name Of Love,” which saw Garrix maturing his sound and moving in a more pop friendly direction, the ID in question is something of a return to form to the Dutch producer’s earlier big room and progressive house work. The first recording of the song that surfaced on the internet features all the characteristics of an uplifting house anthem, with bouncy synth chords and driving rhythms. The addition of the new vocals adds a radio friendly element to the tune before exploding into the jubilant drop.
The latest preview of the ID only gives us a thirty second sample of the new vocals, but what we hear so far has us excited for Martin Garrix to release the song. You can listen to the vocal update above and check out the first version of the ID below for comparison.
