It’s been a little while since we heard any updates on Nero‘s new album. Roughly four years after releasing their debut album, Welcome Reality, the trio revealed that they were working on Between II Worlds earlier in the year – and the latest track to trickle out from the effort, “Two Minds,” has just received its own futuristic music video.
Taking place in some sort of alternate future in which storefronts are still lined with box-and-dial televisions, the video depicts the perils of a humanoid being that appears to be made out of static white noise. In between being pursued by trenchcoat-wearing thugs with futuristic weapons, the being manages to find a spark with a handsome, young love interest as Alana Watson’s visage sings on animated billboards around the surrounding cityscape.
After several months of buzz, the release date of Between II Worlds finally draws near. On August 28th, Nero fans will be able to purchase the group’s sophomore effort, which so far seems nearly devoid of the dubstep leanings of their previous effort.
